Power to the Flower......

Hi Everyone!

Hope your having a fab week so far!

So the catwalks have been blossoming with the girly pattern of the season…florals.

So I hear you asking how do I wear this trend?

For those curvy hourglass women I found this Floral Dress, £34.00 from TFNC which will look great on your body shape.  The scoop neck will flatter your bust and the skinny belt will highlight your waist and bring out those curves.

Team this dress with an over sized clutch and sandals for the daytime, or add  toe peeped high heels for instant glamour in the evening

If you’re an apple shape then your in proportion with fabulous legs and bust but tend to carry weight around your mid section. I found this Maxi Dress, £75, Lipsy will work wonders on your shape.  The V neck on this dress will highlight your bust and draw the eye upwards to the top half of your body and the dress will skim over your mid section and look flattering.

Add a chunky wedge to this dress for that summer garden party or drinks

If you’re a fairly up and down rectangle with killer legs then these Tropical Floral Shorts, £35.00, Topshop will be great for you to work the trend in.  Team these up with a top that has a high neckline to shorten your torso slightly and add a skinny belt to emphasise your waist and create curves.
Add a bow or peter pan collar to a top to give these shorts a cute look

For those bottom heavy pears I found these Wide leg Trousers, £80.55, Free People.  These trousers are wide leg which will balance out the bottom half of your body with the top half.  Pick out a bold colour from the flower print and team these with a top that colour this will highlight the top half of your body and draw the eye away from the hips.  Choose a style top with a v neck or scoop neck.

Make a statement with a bold necklace or add a lace shawl for a bohemian look

I hope you like this weeks finds and tips.  If you have any questions on styling or would like any advice on how to wear items in your wardrobe please post a comment and I’d be happy to answer them.

Let me know what you think of florals, will you be wearing them this Spring?
